Pietro Lombardo
Saints Andrew and Jerome

1476-80
Church of Santo Stefano, Venice, Italy

St. Andrew is on the left with the book and long beard. Unsually, his hair is short and neat. St. Jerome on the right with the stone he is said to have used to beat his breast. As a hermit, he wears much skimpier clothing than Andrew.
